The production area for large fans for the European market is to grow by around 10,000m², and a new computer centre is also planned along with more staff. Construction is scheduled for completion in September 2014.

With revenue up by over 10% to around €730m for the first half of the current fiscal year, chairman Rainer Hundsdörfer commented: “The model of our success is to secure our global technological leadership by investing heavily in research and development and to continually develop new market standards. With an R&D budget of more than €75m, we were able to establish a number of new products on the market. We are pleased that we can proceed to expand production as a result,” said Hundsdörfer.
