EC opens public consultation on F-gas review

EUROPE: The European Commission has now launched its public consultation on the review of the F-gas regulation via an online questionnaire.
The Commission is seeking input from a broad range of stakeholders, ranging from public authorities to industries, business associations, companies, civil society organisations, academia, as well as individual citizens.
The open public consultation seeks to determine opinions on the performance of the existing F-gas regulation to date and on the choice and potential impacts of future policy options. As the evaluation of the current Regulation will be conducted back-to-back with the impact assessment of the Commission proposal for revising the rules, this consultation will cover both.
This questionnaire is split into three parts covering general awareness of F-gas policy, general views on the F-gas regulation and specialised views on the choice and impacts of the envisaged policy options.
Feedback is open until December 29.
