Eiffage acquires French and German contractors
9th February 2026
FRANCE: Eiffage Énergie Systèmes has made significant investments in refrigeration and air conditioning contracting companies in France and Germany.
The company, a subsidiary of French construction and concessions company Eiffage SA, has followed up last week’s acquisition of Düsseldorf-based HTW Ingenieure GmbH with the announcement, today, of an agreement to purchase a majority stake in the French company Quercy Réfrigération.
Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, based southwest of Paris, designs, builds, operates and maintains electrical, industrial, climate and energy systems and equipment.
The agreement to acquire 70% of Quercy Réfrigération, a firm specialising in industrial refrigeration, primarily for the agrifood sector, is seen to strengthen Eiffage’s expertise in the refrigeration sector.
Founded in 2007 and based in Moissac in southern France, Quercy Réfrigération employs more than 160 people in 10 agencies across the country. Principally active in the French market, it also leads some projects in Europe and beyond. Quercy Réfrigération generated revenue of €66m in 2025.
Last week, Eiffage Énergie Systèmes, through its German subsidiary Salvia, strengthened its presence in Germany with the 100% acquisition of HTW Ingenieure.
Founded in 1969, HTW generated revenue of almost €10m in 2024. It is an engineering consultancy designing and executing complex projects for private and public customers. It has offices in Düsseldorf, Berlin and Leipzig and around 80 employees. Its technical construction know-how includes water treatment, HVAC, electrical engineering, security systems and BIM modelling.
This acquisition is seen to expand Salvia’s planning and engineering capabilities, and also extends its geographical coverage in Germany, particularly in the west and northeast regions.
