Epta completes Hauser acquisition

ITALY: Epta has completed the purchase of Austrian commercial refrigeration manufacturer Hauser GmbH following competition clearance by the European Commission.
The deal, first announced last July, provides Epta with a majority interest in the Linz-based supplier of refrigerated display cabinets and refrigeration systems.
With the completion of the transaction, Hauser officially becomes part of Epta and creates a group with consolidated annual revenues exceeding €2bn.
“Surpassing the €2bn revenue threshold is a significant achievement that reflects the strength of our industrial model and further reinforces our leadership in Europe,” said Epta CEO Marco Nocivelli.
“By combining competencies, technologies and scale, we significantly enhance our ability to drive sustainable and digital innovation. The acquisition of Hauser further strengthens our offering along the full value chain and consolidates our leadership in natural refrigeration and energy-efficient solutions.”
