New chairman Maurizio Orlandi (left) and re-elected vice chairman Jesus Beraza

BELGIUM: Maurizio Orlandi of Epta has been elected the chairman of Eurovent’s Commercial Refrigeration Equipment product group (PG-RDC). He will be supported by re-elected vice-chairman Jesus Beraza of Koxka.

Orlandi, who is Epta’s technical compliance and intellectual property manager, succeeds Pierluigi Schiesaro, R&D director at Arneg, who has held the role since January 2005.

Jesus Beraza, Koxka’s chief strategy and innovation officer, was re-elected as vice-chairman following his previous election in 2016.

The Commercial Refrigeration Equipment product group covers remote and integral refrigerated display cabinets, walk-in cold rooms, commercial beverage coolers, ice-cream freezers and refrigeration packs. It is considered to be the largest European working group of commercial refrigeration equipment manufacturers.
