Eurovent adds rooftop unit group

BELGIUM: Eurovent, Europe’s HVAC and refrigeration manufacturers’ association, is adding a rooftop units product group.
The new group will focus on the assessment of the rooftop unit sector and its technologies under the forthcoming revision of ecodesign regulation 2016/2281.
Francesco Scuderi, Eurovent’s deputy secretary general, said the formation of the new group was part of the association’s intention to maintain, reactivate and fill gaps in coverage of product groups.
“The newly established product group rooftop units aims to complement the existing range and open up possibilities for Eurovent members to become more active in this specific manufacturing field within the association,” he said.
