Evapco to expand Taneytown HQ

USA: Evaporative cooling and industrial refrigeration products manufacturer Evapco is to expand its Taneytown, Maryland, HQ operations with an additional 45,000ft2 (4,180m2) of office space.

To assist with project costs, the Maryland Department of Commerce has approved a $1.4m conditional loan through Advantage Maryland. The state is also providing a $200,000 grant through the Partnership for Workforce Quality program. 

Evapco started in 1976 and now operates in 23 locations and 10 countries. The company moved its headquarters from Baltimore to Taneytown in 1990.
