Forum seeks to accelerate heat pump take-up

BELGIUM: Registration is now open for the European Heat Pump Association’s annual Heat Pump Forum & Awards in Brussels.

Entitled The Heat Pump Accelerator: Advancing REPowerEU in a HeatBeat, the event will take place on 27 and 28 September at Brussels Marriott Hotel Grand Place.

With the European Commission developing a Heat Pump Action Plan to achieve its ambitious heat pump installation targets, the European Heat Pump Association (EHPA) and other organisations are collaborating on creating an “accelerator” document to identify barriers and propose effective solutions for rapid heat pump deployment.

Bringing together thought leaders, policymakers, industry giants, and influential stakeholders, the Heat Pump Forum will seek to co-create the heat pump strategy and accelerate its implementation.

The event will also recognise the most efficient, smart and sustainable heat pump projects. This year the EHPA will award five categories: the Heat Pump City of the Year, DecarbIndustry, Decarbuilding, Lighthouse Heat Pump and People’s choice award: the most popular heat pump project.
