Graham Hendra joins Haier

UK: Heat pump “guru” Graham Hendra has joined Haier as European heat pump development officer.

Hendra has been involved with air conditioning and heat pumps since 1990. During this period, he has worked for several major manufacturers including Daikin, LG and Samsung in predominantly technical roles.

In 2010 he started a company from scratch distributing air-to-water heat pumps, and quite literally wrote the book on Samsung air to water heat pump systems.

More recently he has acted as a heat pump consultant, author and part-time college lecturer and trainer.

He has heated his 100-year-old house for the last 15 years with a series of seven heat pumps trying out different brands, configurations, and setups to disprove many of the myths about the technology.

His activities have been chronicled on LinkedIn and in his bestselling heat pump books on Amazon.

Welcoming Graham on board, Haier HVAC Solutions CEO Bob Cowlard stated “We have known each other from opposite sides of the business table for years, so it will be nice to work with him.”
