Gustave A Larson expands with Progress Supply acquisition

USA: Gustave A Larson a leading HVACR wholesaler covering the midwest, plains and mountain states, has acquired Progress Supply Inc a long-established distributor with branches in Ohio and Kentucky.

Formed in 1960, Progress Supply is a multi-location HVAC and refrigeration distributor covering central and southwestern Ohio, southeast Indiana, and northern Kentucky. With is headquarters in Cincinnati, the company has branches in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Louisville.

Gary Sparks, president of Progress Supply for the last 10 years, will become vice president/general manager of Progress Supply Inc A Gustave A. Larson Company.

“This acquisition increases our presence in Ohio and Kentucky and means that we can now support more contractors in these areas with our extensive inventory and dedicated customer service,” said Larson president and COO Scott Larson.

Family owned and operated since 1936, Gustave A Larson offers equipment, parts and supplies from over 450 different manufacturers. With corporate offices in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, the company employs over 450 team members throughout 20 states and 50+ locations.
