Haier adds Finnish distributor Kataikko

Haier’s Expert range is tailored specifically for the Nordic climate

FINLAND: Haier HVAC Europe has appointed Kataikko Oy, a prominent Finnish distributor of heat pumps, to its growing network of partners across Europe.

Founded in 1995, Kataikko is said to have earned a solid reputation in its market and operates through multiple branches across the Nordic region. It claims a 7% share of the Finnish heat pump market in a region still heavily reliant on gas boilers.

Kataikko has embraced the introduction of Haier by organising training sessions on the Haier portfolio. The inaugural two-day training event is said to have welcomed regional experts, over 30 customers and an additional 75 attendees via live stream.

Kataikko will offer a range of solutions from the Haier portfolio, including air-to-air and air-to-water products, leading with Haier’s Expert range tailored specifically for the Nordic climate.

The Expert Nordic series is said to offer consistent heating even at -30ºC ambient temperature, with sizes ranging from 2.5kW to 3.5kW, boasting energy efficiencies of A+++/A+++.
