Haier expands European presence

ITALY: Expanding its European presence, Haier HVAC Europe has signed a distribution agreement with Kokotas Klimatismos in Greece and agreed a partnership with Dutch supplier Rexel Netherlands.

Founded in 1981, Kokotas Klimatismos is headquartered in Lykovrysi, north of Athens, with branches in Agia Paraskevi and Glyfada. It has a long association as a Mitsubishi Electric supplier.

To support the introduction of Haier’s products, Kokotas Klimatismus is to establish a Haier training centre. 

Describing Haier’s broad range of domestic and commercial products, Kokotas Klimatismos CEO Vangelis Kokotas said: “We are convinced of the opportunities this collaboration brings.”

In response, Haier HVAC Europe CEO Bob Cowlard added: “Greece will be an important market for us and for our plans to expand and grow across Europe.”

Rexel Netherlands

Haier also recently agreed a partnership with Rexel Netherlands, a Rexel Group company offering an extensive range of electric heating, ventilation and cooling products. It operates 19 branches across the Netherlands.
