Halma acquires gas detector firm Sensitron

UK/ITALY: Halma, a British global group of safety equipment companies, has acquired the Italian gas detection company Sensitron Srl for €21m. 

Established in 1988 and based in Milan, Sensitron’s products include detectors for hazardous locations and for refrigerant gases. The company reported sales of €8.5m in the year ended 31 March 2021.

Sensitron has developed a range of products for the detection of flammable gases, ammonia, CO2 and HFCs.
