Herwig Coppens is Frixis chairman

BELGIUM: Herwig Coppens has been named as the new chairman of the Belgian refrigeration and air conditioning association Frixis.

Coppens, who is technical advisor at refrigeration contractor Sabcobel, has taken over from Jurgen Buckinx who has led the association for the last 10 years.

Herwig Coppens has been with the family business, based in Sint-Niklaas, since 1980. Sabcobel is also the exclusive distributor of Epta refrigeration cabinets in Belgium.
