Hoshizaki buys US distributor

JAPAN/USA: Hoshizaki has acquired its US distributor Cannon Marketing Inc (CMI) to strengthen its sales in southeastern United States.

Headquartered in Peachtree City, Georgia, CMI has been a Hoshizaki America distributor for more than 30 years. The company was established in 1992 and achieved sales of $32.5m in 2023.

Handling both sales and maintenance, the company has been engaged in sales in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Eastern Tennessee. 95% of its sales comprise Hoshizaki ice machines and refrigeration products.

Since establishing itself in the US in 1986 and has since established six distribution centres with 15 locations in the Americas.
