Iceland first to ratify Kigali in 2021

ICELAND: The North Atlantic island of Iceland has become the first country in 2021 to ratify the Kigali amendment to phase down HFC refrigerants.

Under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, countries commit to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.
