Kapur named as next Honeywell CEO

USA: Honeywell president and COO Vimal Kapur is to succeed Darius Adamczyk as CEO on June 1. 

Kapur served as president and CEO of Honeywell’s Performance Materials and Technologies business, which includes its refrigerant interests, for a period of 15 months until September last year. 

In addition to the new role, Kapur was also appointed to Honeywell’s board of directors on March 13. He originally joined Honeywell in 2007.  

Adamczyk, who became COO in 2016, CEO in 2017 and chairman in 2018, will continue to serve as executive chairman.
