Man dies after being hit by falling AC unit

INDIA: An 18-year-old man died and his 17-year-old friend was reportedly critically injured after being struck by a falling air conditioning condensing unit.

According to reports in the Indian press, the units struck the two men after falling from the second floor of a building in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area on Saturday.

One of the victims was seated on a stationary motor scooter talking to his friends stood beside him. Both were rushed to hospital where one was declared dead. His companion is said to be critical.
