Martin Krutz named joint MD at Daikin Germany

GERMANY: Martin Krutz, MD of Daikin’s commercial refrigeration subsidiary AHT, is to take over the joint managing director position from Filip De Graeve at Daikin Airconditioning Germany GmbH.
He will share the role with Masaharu Tada, who was appointed joint MD with De Graeve in January of this year.
Martin Krutz, who takes up his new position on January 1, also succeeds Filip De Graeve as MD of Daikin Manufacturing Germany GmbH in Güglingen.
A company statement says that outgoing managing director Filip De Graeve, who has been in the role since 2019, will move back to Daikin Europe in Ostend on January 1, 2024 to take on new tasks.
Martin Krutz has been with Daikin for over 20 years, previously as MD at Daikin Poland, Daikin Central Europe and, more recently, three years as MD at Daikin UK.
On his appointment, Kurtz said: “I know that two first-class organisations have been built here. The close relationship with customers and the market is particularly important to me, because in my opinion a partnership always has to be human in order to be successful in the long term.”
