Menon appointed president of RAMA

INDIA: Mukundan Menon of Indian AC manufacturer Voltas has been appointed president of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Manufacturers Association (RAMA). 

Menon succeeds Kanwaljeet Jawa, managing director and CEO of Daikin India, who has led the Indian manufacturers’ association for the past four years.

The appointment of Menon, currently executive director and head of Voltas’ room air conditioner business, is for a period of two years. 

Menon joined Voltas in July 2023, brining with him a rich experience of over three decades leading organisations in India and overseas. Prior to joining Voltas, he spent over 17 years at Blue Star, latterly as president and COO of Blue Star Ltd and director of Blue Star Climatech.
