Mitsubishi opens Romanian subsidiary

ROMANIA: Mitsubishi Electric Europe has opened its first air conditioning branch in Romania.

The new subsidiary is headed by Andrea Veronese, who has been with Mitsubishi Electric since 2005 and joined its air conditioning division in 2009

Mitsubishi Electric Living Environmental Systems has been operating in Romania since 1990 through a network of distributors. It claims a 10% share of the Romanian market with sales last year amounting to around €10m.
