New partnership deal tackles circularity

Beijer Ref CEO Christopher Norbye (left) agrees the deal with Danfoss Climate Solutions president Jürgen Fischer

SWEDEN/DENMAK: Beijer Ref and Danfoss have renewed their longstanding partnership agreement to include plans to deliver upon the circular economy.

Under the new 3-year agreement, the partnership will include, for the first time, an ambitious project to pilot circularity of products in all stages of the value chain.

Both companies already share environment, social, governance and sustainability targets creating long-term value for their customers and for the environment.

“In the last decade, the European Commission has established a number of policies to encourage circularity and it is of great importance that we continue to support this sustainable transformation,” commented Beijer Ref CEO Christopher Norbye.

Danfoss Climate Solutions president Jürgen Fischer added: “Manufacturers and wholesalers must drive the circular economy transition. We look forward to working with a key partner as Beijer Ref to jointly accelerate and develop efficient strategies and actions to achieve product circularity, striving for high material recirculation, high utilisation, and high endurance in products and service offerings.”
