Nominations sought for J&E Hall Gold

UK: The IoR is now accepting nominations for this year’s J&E Hall International Gold Medal, which recognises the most noteworthy contribution to the advancement of refrigeration and related technologies.

This internationally respected award has had such notable previous recipients as Gustav Lorentzen, Forbes Pearson, Pega Hrnjak, Eckhard Groll and Mark McLinden. 

The award, sponsored by J&E Hall International, includes a prize of £5,000 and is open to individuals or teams responsible for recent practical technology advancement in any of the following areas:

Practical applications of innovative designs
RACHP installations, developments, technologies that have made an original contribution to the field
Systems that demonstrate substantial potential and evidence that they will be completed successfully
Outstanding and significant work in a new or unusual area of design and installation
