Nordic Climate acquires Danish duo
2nd June 2024SWEDEN/DENMARK: The Nordic Climate Group has expanded activities in Denmark with the acquisitions of Nordfrost Køleservice and Buus Køle-Service ApS.
The acquisition of Esbjerg-based Nordfrost Køleservice gives Nordic Climate a a strong position in southwest Jutland, especially within the offshore segment.
Founded in 1978, Nordfrost is said to have broad expertise in refrigeration and natural refrigerants (CO2 and propane) with a strong local position in the Esbjerg region.
Established in 2021, Nordic Climate Group now includes nine Danish companies with nearly 200 employees.
Buus Køle-Service ApS
The addition of Buus Køle-Service ApS is the third Buus company acquisition by Nordic Climate. In 2023 it acquired Buus Køleteknik and Buus Ice, all located in Mors, Jutland.
Buus Køle-Service has a long tradition of providing refrigeration solutions to grocery stores, retail, as well as industrial and commercial businesses throughout northwest Jutland.
Buus Køle-Service, founded in 2007 with 19 employees, is acquired from the former owners Carsten Nilsen, Dennis Djernis, and Kevin Rockell, who each held equal shares in the company. Like other companies in the group, Buus Køle-Service will continue to operate under its local brand, with former owners retaining their roles, and current operations including customer assignments being prioritised.
