DENMARK: Danish refrigeration specialist SA-AL Køleteknik ApS, part of the Swedish Nordic Climate Group, has acquired fellow Danish contractor Polarkøl ApS.

The deal expands the Nordic Climate Group’s presence in Denmark and strengthens its position in the retail sector with a focus on natural refrigerants.

The acquisition complements the group’s Danish companies: SA-AL Køleteknik, PVN Køleteknik, JF Køleteknik, Buus Køleteknik, Buus Køle-Service, Findan Køle og Elteknik, Nordfrost Køleservice, and Nordkøl.

Based in Hjørring, Polarkøl was founded in 2020 and has six employees. With a further office in Sorø, it claims a strong position in the retail sector with significant expertise in natural refrigerants, especially CO2.
