Nordic Climate makes further Dutch move

SWEDEN/NETHERLANDS: The Nordic Climate Group has further expanded its operations in the Netherlands with the acquisition of Amsterdam-based IJskoud BV. 

IJskoud was founded in 1935 and is a well-established in Amsterdam and the Randstad region. Its main focus is on cooling, climate technology and energy efficiency solutions for hotels, hospitals, laboratories, and public buildings. 

The addition of the company adds 24 employees and a turnover of €4.6m to the Nordic Climate Group, whose presence in the Netherlands now comprises nine companies, with nine locations, 190 employees and approximately €50m in revenue.

IJskoud owners Henk Komin and José Komin

This is the Nordic Climate Group’s fourth acquisition in the Netherlands. In November, it acquired the group companies Cooling Systems Holland (CSH), Cooling Service Holland, Installatiebedrijf Bakker BV, MIB Installatietechniek, TCB, and 3BG Cooling. This followed the purchases of Compair Airconditioning BV and T&S Klimaattechniek BV in June. 

The current IJskoud owners and managers, José Komin and Henk Komin, will continue in their roles.
