One dead in refrigerant factory fire

TAIWAN: An explosion and fire at a refrigerant factory in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, has killed one employee and sent three others to hospital with burns.
The explosion at around 17.00 local time yesterday led to a fire which is reported to have spread rapidly with smoke engulfing the nearby national highway.
A total of 77 fire trucks and ambulances were dispatched to the scene.
The employee who died was reported to be a 36-year-old female employee.
The cause of the incident is being investigated.
