One dead, nine injured in AC compressor explosion

MALAYSIA: One person is reported dead and nine injured after an air conditioning compressor exploded at a university in Kuala Lumpur today.
The explosion, at around 11.45am local time, is said to have occurred during maintenance of an air conditioning unit on the fourth floor of the HELP University in Bukit Damansara.
The victims included students, contract workers, management staff and cafeteria workers, with some remaining in critical condition.
The deceased, a 24-year-old contractor, died from his injuries in hospital in Kuala Lumpur.
