Pedro Ruiz Romero joins AFEC

SPAIN: Pedro Ruiz Romero has been appointed to AFEC, Spain’s air conditioning equipment manufacturers’ association, as head of the department of studies and legislation.

Ruiz joins AFEC from HVAC manufacturer Wolf España where he held the position of project manager. His 31 years of experience in the sector includes over six years at Viessmann in a similar role, as well as spells technical support roles with LG and Mitsubishi Electric. He started his career with a 15 year grounding in an engineering role with Spanish contractor Roisolma SL.

At AFEC his responsibilities will include the coordination of working groups, development of studies, monitoring of national and European legislation, participation in sectoral events, giving lectures and participating in discussion tables.
