PLM paves the way with zero-emissions TRU

USA: New-Jersey-based transport leasing company is to offer a net-zero emission refrigerated trailer as an alternative energy fleet solution.

The zero emission AEM Solar Tech transport refrigeration unit developed by  Advanced Energy Machines (AEM) of Mesa, Arizona, is described as a complete all-electric solution with an industry standard operating range.  

The Solar Tech electric TRU offers single and multi-temperature options and full-range temperature control and performance. It is said to provide 30+ hours of continuous use between charges and is fully charged in 8 hours.
