Rating points for process and IT cooling

BELGIUM: Eurovent’s Air Conditioners  Product Group has released a new recommendation on the rating points for air-to-air process and IT cooling.

The new Eurovent Recommendation 11/1 proposes a new definition and two methodologies to address the air-to-air process and IT cooling in the context of the revision of the Ecodesign regulation (EU) 2016/2281.

The definition and the methodologies derive from the existing regulation or the existing standard EN 14825. The recommendation aims to include all IT cooling or close control air-to-air air conditioners under the regulation that will replace the existing (EU) 2016/2281 regardless of the capacity.

The document can be downloaded free of charge in the Publications section on the Eurovent website.
