Ricardo Maciel named Tecumseh CEO

USA: Compressor and condensing unit manufacturer Tecumseh has appointed Ricardo Maciel as CEO, effective January 2.
He will replace Jay Pittas, who will be assuming a full-time role as chairman of the board after previously serving as both CEO and chairman.
Maciel, who is currently president of Tecumseh Europe & Asia, brings to the role a wealth of experience, a proven track record, and a deep understanding of the industry.
He joined Tecumseh in 2021 after five years at compressor manufacturer Secop, latterly as president and CEO. Prior to that he spent 15 years at Embraco.
