Samon founder to step down

SWEDEN: Alexander Larsson has been named as the new MD of Swedish refrigeration gas detection company Samon AB, after founder Jonas Sjöström announced his decision to step down.
Sjöström, who founded the company in 1990 will retain a strategic position as board member.
Alexander Larsson has a background with ABB, both in Ludvika and India and is currently managing the industrial system sales in Sweden for the Hilti Company. He will take over on July 1.
Samon supplies refrigeration gas detection solutions for industrial, commercial, and marine applications. It is headquartered in Vellinge outside of Malmö, Sweden, and has an annual turnover of around €5m.
