Sandro Matic named as Emerson president

GERMANY: Sandro Matic has been appointed president of Emerson’s Climate Technologies business in Europe.
He succeeds longtime Emerson executive Jean Janssen who passed away in May.
Matic joined Emerson in Aachen in 2011 as a financial analyst. Following several roles of increasing leadership responsibility, he was appointed vice president of operations in 2019, and in 2021 was named vice president of product management and operations, where he was responsible for operations, supply chain, quality, engineering, and marketing.
“I am excited to take on this responsibility and am honoured by the trust Emerson is placing in me as we continue to drive growth with an uncompromised focus on customer needs and employee development,” said Matic.
“We remain focused on innovation and expanding our business through value-added, energy efficient and sustainable solutions that support our customers and the HVACR industry during future challenges and regulatory trends. And personally, I want to continue honouring the legacy of my longtime mentor and friend, the late Jean Janssen, who had an important impact on my personal and professional development throughout the past decade.”
