Scarbrough named LG USA senior VP

USA: Steven R Scarbrough has been named senior vice president and general manager of air conditioning technologies for LG Electronics USA, following the retirement of Kevin McNamara.

Scarbrough joins LG from Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US, where he has held a variety of key roles over the past decade, most recently as vice president overseeing its US residential business. Prior to that he was president of HVAC distributor Climatic Comfort Products. 

Based at LG’s US air conditioning headquarters in Alpharetta, Georgia, Scarbrough reports to senior vice president DJ Kang.

McNamara spent more than 30 years in the US air conditioning industry having worked for a number of companies including Carrier, Trane, York, Honeywell and McQuay. He  joined LG in 2011.
