Schneider to step down as Turbocor president

Rogerio Federici (left) is to succeed Ricardo Schneider as president

USA: Rogerio Federici, Danfoss Turbocor’s head of sales and marketing, is to succeed Ricardo Schneider as president of the company from January 1.

Schneider is to start a transition to retirement after 32 years with Danfoss and 16 years as president of Danfoss Turbocor. He will remain onboard as an executive advisor for Danfoss, ensuring a smooth transition for the business.

Federici will step into the role after two years of successfully leading Turbocor’s commercial efforts and 28 years of experience at Danfoss.

“Rogerio’s appointment reflects our commitment to ensuring seamless leadership transitions and continued growth,” said Kristian Strand, Danfoss Commercial Compressors president. “His expertise will be invaluable as we continue developing and delivering game-changing oil-free technology to the HVAC industry.”

Global production capacity of Turbocor’s oil-free, magnetic bearing compressor technology has quadrupled, and revenue has increased nearly ten-fold since Schneider took the helm. Earlier this year, the company doubled its Tallahassee, Florida manufacturing capacity with the opening of a new, 145,000ft2 factory.
