Schwartz is new AHRI chairman

USA: Michael Schwartz, CEO of Daikin Applied Americas, is the new chairman of the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI).

Schwartz, who has been Daikin CEO since 2011, replaces John Galyen, president of Danfoss North America.

The officers and executive committee  is now completed by Ron Duncan, president, Magic Aire (vice chairman), Kevin Wheeler, AO Smith (vice chairman), Megan Fellinger, president and CEO, Morrison Products (treasurer), John Galyen, president, Danfoss North America (past chairman)

The board of directors comprises:
