Secop to consolidate German sites

GERMANY: Hermetic compressor manufacturer Secop is consolidating its facilities in Germany to a new building in Flensburg.
Secop has been operating from two different locations in Germany: the parent company Secop GmbH located in Flensburg and global R&D centre of Motor & Drives (MCC) located in Harrislee.
Secop says the new building will enable it to combine all competences at one location “to boost synergy effects and efficiency” as well as flexibility to support expansion plans.
In a phased move, the relocation is already underway and is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
