Susana Rodríguez is first female president of AEFYT

SPAIN: Susana Rodríguez, president of the Asofrío Group, has been appointed as the president of the Spanish refrigeration association AEFYT.

The first female president of the association, Rodríguez takes over from Frost-trol CEO Roberto Solsona, who has held the position since 2011.

With more than 25 years of experience in the refrigeration sector, Susana Rodríguez has been general director of Friex since 2010 and president of Asofrío since 2013. She has been a vice-president of AEFYT since 2016.

Commenting on the appointment, Susana Rodríguez said: ”We have the opportunity for the cold sector to lead the great changes we face as a society and as an economy: sustainability, digitisation and the elimination of the gender gap. For this, it is very important that the entire value chain represented in the subsector groups of AEFYT work together, as it has done until now.”
