Swegon buys Norwegian distributor Klimax

SWEDEN: Swegon has acquired Klimax AS, a leading Norwegian air conditioning distributor.

Founded in 2001, Klimax has six branches in Hamar, Oslo, Haugesund, Moss, Stavanger and Bergen. It supplies a range of top brand products including Climaveneta, LG, Searle and Denco Happel. Sales in 2018 were NOK66m (€6.6m).

“Our full range of HVAC products and systems combined with our services make us unique in Europe,” claimed Swegon Group CEO Hannu Saastamoinen. “The acquisition gives us a platform to grow from, offering the Swegon heating and cooling assortment, by utilising the Klimax regional offices in Norway.”
