SWEDEN: Gothenburg-based HVAC manufacturer Swegon has made a number of key managerial appointments in production, sales and business development.

Karlsson has solid experience from senior positions in large industrial companies such as SKF and Armatec. She also holds board positions, in among others, Assa Abloy and the Faculty of Science and Technology at Luleå University.

Karlsson will take up the role on August 1 and be part of Swegon’s group executive committee.

The new operations director for Swegon’s AHU business unit is Caroline Lilja. This role includes Swegon’s largest production plant in Kvänum and the plant in Gembloux, Belgium, where ventilation units are manufactured.

Lilja comes from CPAC Systems, part of the Volvo Group, where she has been for almost 15 years in various senior positions. She also has a background from Volvo Penta and Volvo Powertrain.

Carl-Johan Strömwall will start in August as director aftersales and services responsible for business development of aftermarket services and new digital services. Strömwall joins from Bergman & Beving, a Swedish supplier of industrial consumables, industrial components and related services, where he currently works as business area manager. He has also worked with business development at Solar Sweden and been a consultant at McKinsey and Accenture.

After several years at Finnish industrial equipment engineering specialist Etteplan, Anna Månsson will return to Swegon as business development manager to work within the room units business area. She will work with acquisitions, marketing, competence and finding new business opportunities in the room products segment.
