Tewis moves Valencia factory after recent flooding

SPAIN: Daikin is relocating its Tewis commercial refrigeration factory following October’s floods in Valencia that damaged the company’s production facilities.

After the floods, the company assessed the damages and decided to move to a new location to ensure continuation of service levels to the market.

The transition to the new manufacturing facility in nearby Náquera has started this week. The Tewis’ offices will remain at their current address in Paterna, Valencia, 13km from the new premises.

During the move Tewis will continue to meet market demands through temporary facilities and collaboration with other Daikin Group members.

“The swift response and support from Daikin have been crucial in minimising the impact of the natural disaster on our customers and employees,” commented Tewis MD Dries Laheye.
