Thermo King to distribute BlueSeal air curtains in US and Canada

NETHERLANDS/USA: Amsterdam-based air curtain manufacturer Brightec has announced a partnership with transport refrigeration company Thermo King for exclusive distribution of its BlueSeal curtains in the US and Canada.

BlueSeal air curtains are designed to keep goods cool and save refrigeration energy by managing cargo temperature during door openings when products are at their most vulnerable. They are said to provide a consistent, uninterrupted climate barrier without any obstruction to the driver.

Independent tests by Brunel University and the Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Chains (CSEF) are said to have demonstrated that BlueSeal can achieve savings of 30-50% in a standard box truck.

Brightec was founded in 2010 and now distributes to over 33 countries worldwide. Through close partnerships with leading commercial bodybuilders throughout Europe, BlueSeal is said to have been adopted by some of the biggest names in temperature-controlled distribution as a must-have solution for cargo climate control.

Hans Opdam, inventor of BlueSeal air curtains said: “We are delighted to partner with Thermo King who have shown tremendous support not only in distributing BlueSeal throughout the US and Canada, but promoting the product to their vast network of dealerships.”
