Tim Kroeger RIP

BELGIUM: Eurovent Certification has announced the death of its business development manager Tim Kroeger.

Kroeger had been an integral part of the Eurovent Certification team since August 2023. Tasked with business development in Europe with a particular affinity to the DACH region, he used his technical knowledge and skills as a natural born showman to manage new and existing relationships.

“In his role as business development manager, Tim connected with people throughout the industry and often commented on how immensely he had enjoyed reigniting old friendships and acquaintances on his return to Europe from Australia,” Eurovent Certification stated.

Kroeger began his career in the industry in 1995 when he joined Noske-Kaeser, the German company supplying air conditioning and refrigeration solutions for the shipbuilding and offshore industry. He joined Danfoss in 1996 as a sales engineer based in Frankfurt. Over the next 15 years he held a number of management roles for Danfoss in China and Australia, eventually becoming business development manager industrial refrigeration Asia Pacific & Business Manager IR AU.

After two years at Australian industrial refrigeration company Cold Logic as national engineering manager and a further two years at Bitzer Australia, he rejoined Danfoss as regional segment manager based in Adelaide.

“With his charismatic grin, infectious energy and his own unique mix of German/Australian humour, Tim was a big character not just within the Eurovent family, but within the HVAC and refrigeration industry at large,”  Eurovent Certification said.
