Trevor Young to become FläktGroup CEO

GERMANY: Trevor Young is to take over as CEO of the FläktGroup from March 1.

Currently chief sales officer and chief Officer for the Americas including its SEMCO and Woods US businesses, Young will take over from Hubertus Mühlhäuser who will resume his original, non-executive role as chairman of the shareholder committee.

Young joined FläktWoods in 2011 as vice president Europe. Before that he spent 13 years as director of sales (west Europe) for the Swegon Group. 

The role of chief sales officer will be taken over by Dave Dorney, who joined the FläktGroup on February 1 from Johnson Controls, where he held held various positions over the last 24 years, including vice president and general manager of the EMEA Heating and Cooling division.

Founded in October 2016, FläktGroup is the result of the merger of DencoHappel and Fläkt Woods and is owned by European mid-market sector-specialist investor Triton.
