Turkmenistan takes Kigali ratifiers to 101

TURKMENISTAN: The sovereign state of Turkmenistan has become the first Central Asian country to ratify the Kigali Amendment and takes the number of signees to 101.

Under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol, countries commit to cut the production and consumption of HFCs by more than 80% over the next 30 years.

The countries to have ratified the Kigali Amendment in date order are:
