Viessmann acquires Czech contractor

GERMANY: Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions has acquired Fri-Service, an established provider of refrigeration solutions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Founded in 2012, Fri-Service offers a comprehensive range of cooling solutions and services in all areas of commercial cooling. The company has two service locations in the Czech Republic and one location in Slovakia and employs more than 80 refrigeration experts who work for local food retailers.
“Central and Eastern Europe is an important market region for Viessmann, in which we want to further expand our market presence,” explained Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions CEO Frank Winters. “We are pleased that, together with the competent Fri-Service team, we can continue to implement our strategy of becoming a full-range supplier of cooling solutions,” he added.
