Viessmann acquires Danish service partner SCS

DENMARK: Viessmann Refrigeration Systems ApS, the Danish subsidiary of the German heating and refrigeration manufacturer, has acquired its Danish service partner Scandinavian Cooling Solutions ApS (SCS).

SCS operates throughout Denmark and has two regional sales offices in Farum and Viborg. The company has around 50 employees and offers a full range of services covering all areas of air conditioning and ventilation technology, industrial and commercial refrigeration and cold storage construction. It has extensive experience in sustainable CO2 installations and other types of refrigeration systems.

The company operates throughout Denmark and serves both large and small food retail and food service customers.

With the acquisition, Viessmann says its customers will have full support from the planning stage through to implementation and maintenance of the projects.

“In recent years we have been growing our service and after-sales capabilities across Europe with great success. Acquisition of SCS continues our strategy implementation in becoming a full refrigeration solutions provider. Denmark has been chosen as the next country where we want to make this step,” said Frank Winters, CEO of Viessmann Refrigeration Solutions.

“We have close cooperation with Viessmann in refrigeration services and have always felt that we work as one team,” said SCS MD Henrik Vildenfeldt. “Together we will be able to offer even more comprehensive solutions for the benefit of our Danish customers.”
