Viessmann partners with Dutch contractor

GERMANY/NETHERLANDS: Viessmann has entered into a strategic partnership with Dutch air conditioning contractor Koelplan after taking a minority stake in the company.
The partnership aims to expand Koelplans’ growth in the installation and service of air conditioning, heat pump and air treatment installations, while providing Viessmann with better market access in the Netherlands.
“We are very pleased that we have found a well-positioned partner in Koelplan. They already have six fully-fledged branches in the Netherlands, with which they have a strong national market position as a service provider in climate control,” said Viessmann Invest MD Timo Tauber.

Koelplan was founded in 1995 by Remco Dusschooten. The company now employs about 75 people. In addition to a branch in Soesterberg, there are also branches in Barendrecht, Echt-Susteren, Hengelo, Hoogeveen and Zaandam. Koelplan specializes in the design and installation of sustainable climate systems in the commercial market in the Netherlands.
