Virtual conference for REAL Alternatives

EUROPE: REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE is to hold a one-day online conference on how the landscape for low GWP alternative refrigerants has changed and how training needs have been addressed.
The REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE programme was established to organise an e-learning and train the trainer programme to change attitudes towards the use of low GWP alternative refrigerants in Europe including flammables, CO2 and ammonia.
Three years on and the programme now offers not only a comprehensive set of e-learning modules but also information booklets, study days and technician training. The material is available in 15 different languages with 19 national leads supporting it in Europe and, increasingly, beyond.
The event on 28 May will give an insight into the challenges that have been addressed and the successful outcomes including over 500 REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE certificates delivered since the launch of the programme and nearly 5,000 independent learners. It will also provide an opportunity to hear from those involved in the development of REAL Alternatives and to ask question about the programme and/or alternative refrigerants.
